The challenge was to make the repeating pattern of the artichoke bracts (petals) for Ocean Mist, who are very serious about their artichokes. I was able to make use of some tessellated origami ideas to accomplish the characteristic spiraling bract pattern. There are only two panels for this piece, A and B, and they alternate for ten total panels sewn on the edges and the bracts are all mesh gradients.
